Telecommunication Cables
CONDUCTOR:- Annealed High Conductivity, uniform coated with Tin, Electrolytic Grade Solid Conductor conforming to IS:8130:1984 of diameter 0.5mm., 0.6 mm. & 0.7mm.
INSULATION:- Specially formulated high grade of PVC Compound as per Type 2 of IS:13176:1991 Hard grade and capable of withstanding higher conductor temperature upto 70 degree C. Colour of Insulation are as per Table 2 of G/WIR 06/02 and colour sheds are conforming to IS:9938.
PAIRING:- Two cores are uniformly twisted together to form a pair with maximum lay length 80 mm. The lay shall be so chosen as to minimize cross talk in the cable.
RIP CORD:- A non-metallic such as nylon suitable rip cord shall be laid up longitudinally under the sheath for effective means of slitting the sheath longitudinally to facilitate removal.
SHEATH:- The Laid up of pairs are covered with PVC Compound as per Type TM2 of IS:13176:1991 of Grey colour. The sheath shall be uniform and tightly fitted of overall diameter.
LAYING OF PAIRS. :- The Layers in cables containing 63 Wires or less shall be stranded with a suitable left hand lay. The Stranding lay of all other cable cores shall be alternate. The cable shall be wrapped with polyester tape.
COAXIAL CABLES
CONDUCTOR:- Annealed Bare Electrolytic Grade solid Copper Conductor.
DIELECTRIC:- Gas Injected Physical Foam Polyethylene.
SHIELDING:- Polyaluminium Tape Braided with Aluminium Alloy with Minimum 60% Coverage.
JACKET:- Special formulated, Black Colour PVC Compound.
TYPICAL APPLICATION:- For Transmission of audio and Video Signals and in CATV System..
